Timesulin automatically tracks the time since your last injection. Replace your old cap with Timesulin and it will immediately start counting the seconds, starting at one second (00:01) and counting up to an hour. After an hour, the timer mode will switch from MM:SS to HH:MM. If you wish to check how much insulin is left in your pen, remove Timesulin for less than 8 seconds and the timer will not reset. Lifespan of a Timesulin is 12 months, the screen will start fading and then go blank.
Package contains one Timesulin cap which fits the Sanofi Solostar® family of Insulin Pens (including Lantus).
Works for: Apidra / Insuman / Lantus / Admelog.
Does not currently support the Solostar Toujeo.
Always remove the used needle after each injection and store your insulin pen without a needle attached to ensure no insulin enters the Timesulin cap.
The user maintains full responsibility to administer medication at the appropriate times. Timesulin is to be used only as a reminder aid in taking your medication. Always follow your GP's treatment recommendation and in case you forget an injection or double dose call your GP immediately.
Please note that the insulin pen is not included.
Are you eligible for VAT relief?
HMRC states that if you are “chronically sick or disabled” then you can purchase goods without VAT when purchased for your personal or domestic use. A parent, spouse or guardian is able to purchase on behalf of a “chronically sick or disabled” person and obtain the VAT relief.
HMRC defines “chronically sick or disabled” as physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon his/her ability to carry out everyday activities or a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness – this includes diabetes which will be the main reason for your purchase on our shop.
HMRC defines “personal or domestic use” as goods used for your own private use, rather than for business purposes. It cannot be used by anyone else or “chronically sick or disabled” in general.
Which products are eligible for the relief?
The declaration is only attached to those products with are eligible for the relief. It is only those products which have been designed solely for use by disabled people are eligible for the VAT relief. It is the designer or manufacturer who determines this not Diabetes UK.
